Recipe Post – Classic Reuben Sandwich


What is a Reuben sandwich?   It’s a classic delicatessen styled sandwich prepared with corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut.

What you need:

2 slices Dimpflmeier Bakery Marble Rye Bread  – Or if you prefer Dimpflmeier Bakery Pumpernickel Rye Bread

1 Tbsp Thousand Island salad dressing

40 grams thinly sliced corned beef

2 Tbsp sauerkraut – drained and liquid squeezed out of it

1 slice Swiss cheese


How to make it?

Spread one slice of bread with the salad dressing

Fill the bread slices with remaining ingredients

On medium heat, place the sandwich in a skillet that has been coated with a non stick spray.

Heat 3 minutes each side or until bread is nice and golden brown.
